Hey everyone,

 

The Webelos have been working hard to earn some awards at our upcoming pack meeting.  So far Andrew has finished the requirements for the Athlete and Fittness activity badge.  Logan has finished the requirements for Readyman.  Both of these Webelos are also very close to earning their Citizen activity badge.  All they need to do is finish the requirements for the Academics belt loop for Citizenship.  If parents can work with them to finish this, they can receive their Citizen badge at the pack meeting.  Citizen and Fittness are both required for them to receive their Webelos Badge.

 

We welcome Aaron as the newest member of our Webelos Den.  He has done a lot of work in a very short period of time to earn his Citizen badge.  He only needs to complete one more of the requirements from 9-17 and earn the Academics belt loop.  It is very posible that he too will get his Citizen badge at our pack meeting.

 

Also, all parents need to read and sign off that they have read the Parent Guide in the front of the Webelos handbook.  That is also a requirement for them to get the Webelows badge.

 

I have to admit that we are a little behind schedule for the boys to earn their Webelos badge because we have missed so many meetings lately.  We only met once in December because of the holidays, and then we missed last week because of the weather.  If parents will work with with the boys to finish up the requirements for Citizen, Fittness, and one other badge, they will be able to get the Webelos badge.  Thanks for all you do to support our Webelos Den.  I look forward to seeing all of you at our Pack Meeting next week.
